What is actually on the grill and the buffet

The live station grills chicken shish tawook, lamb kofta, beef and vegetable skewers to order, alongside saffron rice, grilled vegetables and fresh Arabic bread. The mezze bar carries hummus, moutabel, tabbouleh, fattoush, vine leaves and pickles, and the dessert corner runs to umm ali, fresh fruit and dates with Arabic coffee. Everything is halal, and the whole spread refills through the evening rather than being served in one sitting.

Dietary needs, allergies and children

Vegetarian and vegan guests get a dedicated grill run and separate serving tongs rather than an afterthought plate. Jain, gluten-free, nut-free and no-onion-no-garlic requests are all manageable when you tell us at least 24 hours in advance, because the camp kitchen prepares those portions before service starts. All meat is halal and no pork or alcohol is served at the camp. Children usually do best with the plain grilled chicken, rice and bread, and highchairs are available on request.

The evening around dinner

Dinner is the middle of the evening, not the whole of it. Before the grill opens you have sunset dune bashing, a short camel ride, sandboarding and time in the camp for henna, Arabic dress photographs and shisha. During service, the tanoura spinner, belly dance and fire show run in rotation on the central stage, with a gap between acts so you can eat without shouting across the table. The camp keeps clean restrooms, a dedicated prayer area and lighting low enough to still see stars from the back row.
